Facility : GAME AND SPORTS

Overview: All the sports activities at Mahila College Dalmianagar are conducted under the supervision of the University Sports Council headed by the Pro Chancellor as the Chairperson and Vice Chancellor as the Vice Chairperson of the council. The Deputy Registrar is the Secretary and the Registrar, Director, Student Affairs, Director, General Services, Director Finance, Director, Projects and all the Heads of constituent institutes and Directors of Physical Education are the members of this council. In addition to this, there are staff sports advisors in the college, who are also part of this council. Every year, one of the Directors of Physical Education will be elected as Chief Sports Coordinator who will oversee the College sports activities under the guidance of the Secretary, Sports Council.

1.      One Athletics ground 400 metres.

2.      One Cricket Ground.

3.      Two Basket Ball Courts.

4.      Four Lawn Tennis Courts.  

5.      Two Throw Ball Courts.

6.      Three Volley Ball Courts.

Sport Events: A wide variety of sports events like Athletics, Badminton, Basketball and Cricket are held in the Inter Collegiate Tournaments. There are separate sections for both men and women. The events are modeled according to the rules and regulations of the respective federations of these sports in India. Winners and runner-ups in these events are awarded merit certificates. The Winning team will be awarded a trophy for that year.
